Características da utilização de software de código aberto: Um estudo sobre o setor de tecnologia da informação

Resumo


O uso de software de código aberto (SCA) é realidade nas empresas de tecnologia da informação, porém há pouca pesquisa acadêmica abordando os fatores que impactam o processo de adoção, as formas de adoção e os modelos de negócio praticados. O arcabouço Tecnologia, Organização e Ambiente (TOE - Technology, Organization and Environment) será utilizado para guiar a descoberta dos fatores inibidores e motivadores considerados pelas empresas no processo de adoção do SCA. A coleta dos dados será feita por questionário e aplicado como \textit{survey} eletrônico junto aos profissionais em cargo de gerência e diretoria nas empresas de TI. Com aplicação da análise fatorial nos dados coletados pretende-se inferir sobre o impacto dos fatores na forma de adoção de SCA e no modelo de negócio praticado pelas empresas de TI.
